With over 10 years experiencethey work with corporate customers across the UK providing technology, expertise and intelligence for their communicationneeds.Role summary:Due to growth, they now require a talented 1st Line Network Engineer with strong Cisco experience, preferably with adiverse, advanced configuration knowledge and hand on experience.The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years proven and demonstrable experience in the Cisco networking arena with acommunications background. Strong troubleshooting skills with sound, logical and methodical approach.What We Are Looking For:Someone who has both Campus/Enterprise networking as well as ISP/Telco environment experience and has demonstrablecompetence in various key IT disciplines. Ideal candidate will have excellent customer facing skills, will workdiligently on own initiative and be prepared to accept and take ownership and ultimate responsibility for various rolesand tasks/projects.Technical Experience Required: CCNA or CCNP Cisco qualification Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, which will include all VPN technologies and protocols to include TCP/IP, IPX, BGP,RIP, EIGRP and OSPF. Basic Unix/Linux knowledge. Any other industry recognised qualifications like MCSE would be useful. |
