Cambridge and its surrounds are referred to as Silicon Fen with high-tech businesses and science parks around the city. These create a wealth of skilled jobs. Abcam, CSR, ARM Limited, CamSemi, Jagex and Sinclair all grew up around Cambridge, becoming world beating companies and providing good employment.
