CLIENT DESCRIPTION:Our client has nearly 40 years experience in distance learning and has become one of the largest supplier of IT trainingwith the stated aim of delivering high quality training and technical support services and developing/maintaining coursesto the agreed standards and processes.ROLE:Key Responsibilities:To deliver high quality training courses to customers at the Training Centre.To support the customers technical queries as required, via post, email, telephone chat rooms, etc.To develop/maintain courses, under the direction of the E-Learning Development Manager, using the agreed methodologies.Monitor the quality of training and support provided to ensure that it meets the design objectives and customerrequirements.Assume prime responsibility for specific course(s)/stage(s), ensuring they are updated and reflect the marketexpectations and the customers requirements.Ensure career reviews, development/training plans are completed in line with existing procedures.Ensure all day-to-day activity is in-line with the existing ISO9001 proceduresSuggest improvements in processes and procedures to either improve customer satisfaction or reduce the costs.To deliver A+, MCDST, Network+ and possibly Server+ coursesBased in West Midlands but may need to run courses occasionally in Hammersmith.Key Relationships:InternalTutor team leaders for day-to-day management and ensuring their objectives are set and reviewed regularly anddevelopment/training plans are in place.Other tutors/support tutors to ensure training and customer support processes and procedures are fit for purpose.Customer Services team to ensure customer queries are handled with agreed guidelines.E-Learning Development to ensure their courses are maintained and developedExternalAll customers registered onto the courses they deliver or supportVarious third party training organisations and providers to ensure they have the appropriate knowledge and expertise tosupport the customer requirements.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSEssential Skills:Candidates must be qualified to at least CompTIA A+ and/or MCDST and have IT training, tutoring or helpdesk experience.Candidates must have good English, excellent presentation skills, good written skills and must be a good team player.Desirable Skills:CompTIA Network+ and/or Server+MCSA/MCSE/CCNA/CCNP/CompTIA Security+Note:The successful candidate will be given training in Training Delivery Skills and on-line mentoring and will be expected toup-skill to MCSA/MCSE level eventually with support from the client.Additional Information:Basic salary up to GBP 22K. Additional bonus paid for qualifications up to a maximum of GBP 5000 pa (i.e. A+, Network+, Server+all GBP 500 pa each. MCDST GBP 1000 pa. MSCA GBP 2000 pa. MCSE GBP 3500 pa. Etc.)In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work inthe UK or EU.
