BRISTOL BASED POSITION The UK Off-trade wines and spirits market is a well developed, competitive environment with a number of large competitors selling to very well developed Off-trade segments. Typically the Off-trade is dominated by a few large grocery multiples and to a lesser extent large multiple specialists. The key dynamics are the continuing growth of the Multiple Grocers and increasing prominence of a convenience offering.The Off-trade is absolutely critical for the success of our wine brands via the multiple grocers. This role is home based and it is desirable that the jobholder resides within the boundaries of their own territory. Normal hours of work are 09.00 17.30 hrs Monday to Friday, however there will be times when required working hours exceed those stated. Regular attendance at company meetings and functions will be required as necessary.The Off-trade Account Development Team consists of 12 Account Development Executives working within 2 regional teams (North & South). ADEs are allocated a territory consisting of approximately 40 top multiple grocer stores and as deemed necessary to meet the needs of specific campaigns, ADEs may be allocated calls outside of their own territory boundaries.QualificationsFormal education, professional qualifications or accreditations from industry bodiesGraduate caliberMarketing or commercial degree Skills & KnowledgeGood verbal and numerical skillsTeam working aptitudeAnalytical thinkingStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Goal orientationIT literate Full driving license Full clean driving license held for minimum of 2 years Experience Type and length of functional/ professional experience required No previous professional experience is requiredWork experience or placement during higher education in commercial environment FMCG knowledge would be excellent Drinks industry related knowledge even betterExcellent Salary - 10% Commission all goods - Company Car also included in the package.
