As part of their continuedcommitment to excellent client service, they are now looking for experienced account managers to strengthen their team.If you feel you have the skills & specific experience required to fulfil this role, then please contact us.Account DirectorAll candidates must have:- Global Pharma / Healthcare experience A minimum of 4 years communications agency experience A minimum of 4 years Pharma / Healthcare experience Excellent client facing skills A hands-on approach Experience of developing communication programmes Experience of developing business plans including SWAT analysis A good understanding of the pharmaceutical sector especially relevant business issues A graduate ideally with a science background Ability to develop new business Experience of publications planning & SymposiaPart of the Client Services Unit responsible for leading/managing specific projects. Close liaison with all otherdepartments in the company to develop and maintain effective working relationships. Establish in-depth professionalrelationships with key clientsKey Accountabilities To provide strategic direction of accounts encompassing all aspects of programme/project development through thoroughknowledge of market issues, companys and projects overall strategic objectives. To be financially accountable for allocated projects, closely monitoring profitability. To proactively initiate actionsto maximise growth and profitability of accounts. To perform presentations internally and externally for example New Business Plans (in conjunction with BusinessDevelopment Team) Action Plans, Case Histories or Project Plans. To develop strong relationships with key client contacts and obtain regular feedback. To be responsible for clientsatisfaction and to ensure the delivery of projects to agreed specification and quality within budget and timescales. To revise all budgets and schedules before they go to the Director, Client Services for sign-off. To assess the scope of all assigned projects and identify the range and depth of support necessary for achievingaccount and project objectives. To direct project teams on all aspects of project briefing, planning, scheduling, budgets and resourcing. To ensure the strategic medical/marketing development of all projects. To ensure final sign-off on all projects before they go to client and or to print. To review projects for scientific accuracy, therapeutic relevance and key marketing messages in conjunction withmedical writers. To review projects for quality assurance and high standards in conjunction with project editors. To be responsible for coaching and mentoring of project team members. To identify PDP objectives for these project teammembers in conjunction with Director, Client Services. To regularly feed back to Director, Client Services on projectteam members performance, progress and development. To provide regular account/project updates to the Director, Client Services. To set example by complying with and endorsing company procedures. To develop and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues at all levels within the company andproactively encourage and implement improved efficiencies. To be aware of, and link in with other service offerings, where appropriate. To be involved in recruitment and selection for the project team. To engender team spirit and work closely with Director, Client Services on special assignments and company initiatives,e.g. task forces, training.
