Our client is one of the longest established broad based telecoms network providers in the UK with an established mediadivision based in Central London. Due to rapid expansion, they now require an office based Account Manager to manageimportant customers telephony business, comprising of voice and mobile promotions and services for the media and agencysector, supporting field based sales people.The role will include: New service set ups comprising of allocation of 08/09 numbers, mobile short codes and key words, issuing of contracts,seeing sight of artwork etc., connection of numbers. Scripting and recording of new telephone messages Briefing to internal technical, operational teams of new service briefs Checking of new voice and mobile services as they are complete and handing over to sales person and client Dealing with third party suppliers from mobile aggregators to content suppliers Other tasks as required and agreed with Sales Manager such as research on specific areas, competitors analysis,presentational supportThe ideal candidate will be from a telecoms, or from a PRS service provider background, or agency or media outlet. Youwill be able to prioritise and work under pressure which may require constant re-evaluation of priorities in order tomeet tight media deadlines.
