Account Manager - Wholesale Food Sector2822MidlandsGBP 30k basic + company car + mobileMidlands based distributor of frozen foods and ready meals have an exciting opportunity for a field sales executive to join the ever expanding sales team. This customer account manager role will involve managing existing distributor wholesale accounts (such as Booker, Hunts and Hopewell), providing a high level of sales and service, training their staff on how to sell the food products, how to effectively merchandise, often visiting end users with the wholesaler, one will also be responsible for attending exhibitions and proactively developing new distributor accounts. Covering a UK sales territory, working from home and visiting the Birmingham office at least once a week. The ideal candidate will have a friendly persona and the ability to develop existing accounts, they will have a strong commercial acumen and have contacts within the wholesale market place, a strong background in sales is required. Training is given covering manufacturers process, costing and existing customer base. Offering GBP 30k basic, company car and mobile. |
