Our client is a major information group spanning over 25 countries and employing 1,000 staff. They are at the very forefront of online content and real time data and work with 80% of the FTSE 500. Due to an internal promotion there now exists a rare sales opportunity to join the high performing London sales team. This European sales position will see you selling a broad range of market intelligence including but not limited to news articles, financial statements, company information, industry analyses and equity quotes. Targeting major corporations with a strong emphasis on the financial service sector this varied role will see you travel extensively within the UK, Spain, Italy and Portugal whilst presenting at board level to senior executives. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years sales experience within the business information sector and be educated to degree calibre. Language ability is a bonus but not essential. More important is a positive, can do attitude, excellent presentation skills and the drive to forge a career with this outstanding international outfit. You will receive a negotiable base salary around the ?25-30K mark with the realistic opportunity to earn ?50K uncapped in year 1. You will also be entitled to a company pension, travel expenses, BUPA and unsurpassed career openings.
