The role suits someone with an account management background with interest and/or experience in sales, looking to grow aUK business and gain exposure within an online growing market. You must be methodical, conscientious and a talentedcommunicator. Main duties / responsibilities:This is both an internal account management and sales role that (a) focuses upon account managing over 200 existingclients and (b) generates new on-line advertising sales from organisations offering business brokering or transferservices within the UK.Our clients are business transfer agents, accountancy practices, business finance providers and other intermediariesspecialising in the buying and selling of businesses. Current account management and administrative activity relates toabout 75% of the work load with new business sales; reactive and proactive accounting for the remainder. This will changeto more of a 60:40 split over the next three to six months.Main duties / responsibilities:* Actively managing current customer accounts thereby demonstrating customer service and working in partnership withthese accounts.* Driving further sales opportunities from existing clients.* Responding to current customer queries and the resolution of these queries.* Fielding new enquiries in relation to the services we offer; converting initial enquiries into clients.* Report writing and management on behalf of customers and the business.* Invoice management and credit control.* Devising and implementing new sales strategies to increase new business revenue from intermediaries within the businesstransfer marketplace.* Undertaking special projects within the realm of sales and marketing.Personal Specifications:Persons character Open, friendly, self-motivated, driven, a good communicator, meticulous, analytical andintellectual.Aptitude A high quality administrator and account manager with excellent computer skills (esp. Excel), inter-personal,numeracy, written and speaking skills.Experience Customer Services, Account Management, Sales Exposure, Online and Off line Media, Delivering on Results,Exceeding Expectations.Special Experience This position would ideally suite someone who is interested in people, enjoys providing greatcustomer service and takes pride in running an efficient operation.Job relationships to other positions:The right candidate will be working along side the UK General Manager who runs the UK website and manages a number ofstrategic relationships for the entire business unit. There will be a high level of interaction between the two roles andyou will need to work as a highly effective team that delivers a market leading business.The right candidate will initially report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, and will be rewarded with GBP 18,000basic (GBP 25,000 OTE) + 25 days holiday p.a.
