The Role:Orange is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Programmer / Developer to work in the team that support theOrange World Portal. It's a really exciting time to join this team as Orange look to develop the services andapplications that we offer our customers. So we need somebody with excellent technical skills but with the passion todevelop unique and leading solutions.Develop technical solutions using a variety of technical and programming languages as required and as agreed in thesolution design, including (but not limited to) PHP, Java, Perl, SQL and PL/SQL.Must Haves:To be considered for this position, you must be able to demonstrate:2-3 years' commercial experience.PHP (Deployment on UNIX platform).MySQL.XML/XSL/CSS.Nice to Haves:It would be great if you could also offer:Java (J2SE/JSP/Spring Framework).Apache (Apache HTTP Server/Apache Cocoon).Previous experience working in a mobile environment.The Department:You'll be joining Portal Solutions - This team develops and implements the systems and architecture for the Orange Worldportal, upon which all applications and services are displayed in line with the technical capabilities of each WAPenabled handset available on the Orange Network.Job Division: MarketingLocation: Leeds
