APPLICATIONS DESIGNER____________________________________________________________________An applications designer is required to provide a professional CAS system installation design service for all clientsinterested in products. Based in West Sussex you will translate initial customer enquiries into full installation designscomplete with detailed building layout drawings, parts listing and provision of fully detailed quotation.To provide aprofessional technical advisory service to all clients and all internal parties regarding product and systemspecifications, and to support the installation sub-contractors with on-the-job related support as and when required.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Design MVHR/MEV/Ventilation systems to suit all building applications using the CAD software Translate resultant designs into fully detailed & itemised quotation, including full parts listing, technical datesheets, installation layout drawings & itemised quotation letter. Provide a follow up service to clients regarding general technical enquiries, or information specifically relating tothe supplied quote. Service to include supporting the installations contractors on-site to negate issues raised duringthe installation work. Provide a site survey service supporting the Sales Executives/Managers to determine the optimum installation design tosecure the order Prioritise/schedule design workloads dependant upon response time specified by the client, Sales Executives/Managers orinternal resource limitations. Provide a follow up design service, offering as installed information, handover documentation and performancedetails.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Detailed hands-on knowledge in the use of CAD systems, (ideally AutoCAD) primarily within Building/Architectural arenasis essential. Building Services qualification to a minimum of HNC Experience in HVAC and the alternative strategies within this field A professional approach must be displayed at all times, along with well developed interpersonal, communicational &organisational skills, especially as the role involves regular contact with Architects, Specifiers, Building ServiceEngineers, Installation Contractors and Site Management.In return you will receive a salary between GBP 18,000 and GBP 20,000, |
