The Applications Engineer will be involved in the design, commissioning and testing of SMPS circuits based on innovative integrated Power ICs. The Applications Engineer will apply his/her SMPS applications knowledge in supporting both internal design teams and external customers who are seeking to design these power ICs into their own products.Suitable candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong grounding in analogue power electronics and at least 4-5 years hands-on SMPS design experience gained within a commercial/industrial organisation. Candidates should feel confident in designing and debugging innovative SMPS designs using both conventional and novel architectures to produce top-quality reference designs of outstanding performance, cost and reliability. |
