Our client develop and manufacture products that are widely used in the mobile wireless market. Due to continuedexpansion they are now looking for an Applications Engineer to join their team.Role To advise customers about the product, to best suit their needs. Undertake investigative projects examining how the product may be used to enhance operation/performance. Bespoke designs for customers.Essential Criteria HNC/HND/Degree in Electronic Engineering. Familiar with RF test equipment, PCB design. Antenna Theory (basic), RF principles, circuit design (mainly RF, but familiar with analogue/digital). 2-3 years experienceResponsibilities To provide technical support expertise to prospective customers, existing customers & internal personnel To actively work wity the sales department to exchange technical information collected whilst in the field To assist the sales department as needed in the preparation of domestic and international project proposals To analyse customer requirements and establish (with others) viable technical solutions to customers applicationproblems. Undertake investigative projects examining how the product may be used to enhance operation/performance. Address customer problems/complaints in the implementation of products To provide information required for customer demonstrations To design and develop electronic circuitry using RF and PCB CAD software Participation in design reviewsDesirable Criteria Experience of designing RF LNA. Knowledge of GPS principles. |
