: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Manager within the Building Service industry. Working for an International engineering company that provides environmental control solutions to the Building Service industry, this role involved new business development and account management. Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire , Derbyshire, Northampshire. This is role is ideally suited to an experienced Sales Engineer with experience in one of the following industries: HVAC, Smoke Control, Building Services or related industry. The Key areas this position will encompass includes: -Increasing, maintaining and developing the client base -Handling market research and area plans including monitoring Competitor and new market activity etc. Further you will attend Seminars -Offer customers bespoke solutions to their business needs -Regularly update your company/product knowledge -Provide designs without the assistance of technical designers -Manage customer specifications and estimates/quotations -Provide Monthly forecasts to the General Manager This position will suit a Succesful Sales engineer, who is target driven, a self-starter, and who is qualified to a minimum of HNC/HND level in Building services or related. Further you will have a minimum of 2 years Sales experience, and a sound working knowledge of Smoke Control equipment or related environment control technology (such as heating, ventilation, air-conditioning etc). Experience of specifying selling to Architects and Consultants would be advantageous but not essential. The salary for the role will be GBP 26k-GBP 30k basic plus OTE GBP 45k-GBP 50k, company car and excellent company benefits
