Description:

Area ManagerPurpose:To sell the complete range of products to customers and prospects and provide technical support as required.Key Tasks:- Contacting potential clients and explaining the benefits of using the products and services.- Preparing quotations, presenting to clients and converting to orders.- Carrying out technical service visits to ensure the programme is performing to specification.Qualifications and Experience:- A full driving licence is required and experience of working on a variety of customer sites with minimal supervision isalso desirable.- A degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or a related discipline or relevant experience.- Knowledge of technical sales would be beneficial.- Knowledge of Legionella / Legionnaires Disease would be an advantage.Personal Qualities:- A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a confident manner is required.- The ability to cope with changing circumstances would be useful.- A commitment to personal development.- Good interpersonal skills.- Highly motivated and organised.- To be able to work under pressure in order to set, meet and exceed targets.A recent graduate can expect a starting salary in the region of GBP 18000 with an experienced sales person within a similarfield expecting a salary in the region of GBP 28000.There will also be a company car, mobile phone, lap top and the ability to earn in the region of 5% in commission on topof the basic salary.
