: This leading provider of building and energy management systems and services that supplies building automation systems and components for climate control, fire protection and security, is currently recruiting for an Area Sales Manager for their CCTV products. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the growth of this global organisation. Based from home in the Midlands, this position covers the West Midlands, Birmingham, Warwickshire and Staffordshire areas. The key responsibilities of this role include the promotion and direct selling of CCTV products to achieve sales targets and objectives; identify, develop and manage new and existing client accounts; the strategic development of plans and initiatives to maximise business; building relationships with customers including consultants, contractors and end users. Other responsibilities and tasks include working alongside the Marketing Manager to determine market requirements and provide input into product development; assisting and planning exhibitions, seminars and training; providing sales reports and summaries and monitoring competitor activity. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years experience selling and supporting CCTV products. From a technical sales CCTV specialist background, applicants will have a solid understanding of digital CCTV products, IP networking including system operation on LAN, WAN, ISDN & ADSL. Ideally you will have a knowledge and appreciation of the UK CCTV market including key account customer contacts, competitive products and systems awareness, and a broad appreciation of market drivers and industry regulations and codes. A positive desire to achieve sales targets and to successfully drive forward the product sales strategy is essential. This position offers a basic salary cGBP 28-32K plus 20% commission, 10% bonus, Company car and excellent company benefits. |
