Our client, with offices in Cambridge and Runcorn, supplies high performance automated washing systems to research, testing and QC/QA laboratories, hospital theatres, pharmaceutical and other industries throughout the UK. They provide the most comprehensive range of models, all of which have been continually developed and improved since they first made specialised washing machines in the late 1960's. The manufacturing operation in Toulouse, France employs over 200 personnel in a high-tech factory of some 10000m2. The production floor capacity has been increased by 50% in the last 3 years to satisfy the demand for its latest model ranges. It is no accident that the leading pharmaceutical companies, universities and hospitals have chosen my client for their critical cleaning requirements. They also provide a high quality but inexpensive range of specially formulated cleaning concentrates for use in laboratories, hospital theatres and industry. They are a decontamination specialist and have introduced a new high-level disinfectant/sterilising wipe, SUPROX. Not only will it help combat the frontline healthcare issues of MRSA and hospital acquired infection generally but it is ideal for disinfecting surfaces in laboratories where micro-organisms and infection are a potential problem. Due to expansion and the introduction of new products to the market they seek a specialist Area Sales Manager to join their impressive team. You will be heading up the chemical division selling their products to hospitals and Pharma Labs. The successful candidate should have 3 4 years experience selling chemicals, have good product knowledge and a proven track record of selling into and dealing with hospitals. Remuneration will be by way of base salary of GBP 25 30K base with an OTE of GBP 40 - 45K. Opportunities like this are rare.
