Our client is looking for a laboratory technician to work full time on a permanent basis in the laboratory undertakinganalyst of samples for the presence of asbestos. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out on site airmonitoring in accordance with HSE procedures and monitor contractors to ensure compliance with Health and Safetyregulations. Other duties include assisting with building surveys to identify asbestos containing materials, book samplesinto the laboratory ensuring their analysis within a given time frame.Successful candidates will have a relevant science or environmental degree and at least six months experience workingwithin the asbestos industry.
