Description:

This client has experience in both asbestos removal and asbestos management. They are currently looking to recruit anumber of P402 asbestos surveyors to join their team based out of Essex and cover projects they currently have in theSouth East. Candidates will require as a minimum qualification, the British institute of Occupational Hygienists (BIOH)proficiency in Building Surveys and Asbestos Bulk Sampling for Asbestos p402. Future Select specialise in AsbestosSurveying/Management jobs.The successful candidates must have at least 3 months experience working for either a consultancy or contractor withinthe asbestos industry.Successful candidates will be expected to carry out Asbestos surveying, sampling and reporting (including use ofdatabases). As a surveyor for the company you will carry out any of the three survey types as a pre-cursor to effectivemanagement. You will ensure that material is precisely located and identified, ensuring that the client is not exposedeither physically or legally at some future date. Using a site audit you would then develop a risk assessment withrecommendations to do with safety and compliance. Depending on the materials condition and site occupation factors youwill either advise that it is simply made safe and labelled, properly repaired or removed altogether.All surveyors must be Asbestos P402 qualified and have at least three months experience carrying out surveys.The company offer a competitive salary package along with a company vehicle or car Allowance.Future Select specialise in Asbestos jobs/positions throughout the UK.
