: Transformer Coil Winder / Assembler: This position involves winding a critical number of turns of round or strip copper wire on to interleaved steel cores, which are then laminated together, clamped, and wired to a terminal rail. To carry out production tasks within own individual ability range. To provide full support to Supervisor/Line Manager. To undergo training on tasks outside own ability range as deemed appropriate by Supervisor/Line Manager. To be totally flexible regarding workplace/tasks within limits of ability range with respect to meeting production targets. Work overtime within reason to achieve Company targets. Endeavour to consistently achieve own best possible efficiencies and encourage others. Undertake training of our junior operatives. Demonstrate a supportive and responsible attitude towards the company and its aims. Work positively towards developing and maintaining good work team. To work within the frame work of the company terms and conditions of employment. The successful candidate should be able to read engineering drawings, perform basic numeric skills, Winding, Soldering, Wiring, Assembly, Team worker, dextrous and flexible. Previous winding, wiring and assembly experience is required, but training would be considered for a motivated candidate. Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8.00 am - 5.00 pm Friday8.00 am - 1.00 pm |
