: Large design consultant seeking Assistant Environmental Consultant. The role will involve contribution to environmental assessments which involves going out on site to do a basic assessment of ecological conditions, assessing the impact of the proposed works and integrating the ArcView database for more specific ecological information. Successful candidates will be degree and ideally MSc qualified with a minimum of 1 years related experience. This position also involves co-ordinating the updating of our environmental database, managing ecological sub-consultants on site doing habitat surveys by ensuring the correct areas are surveyed, dealing with day to day problems and ensuring delivery of information from sub-consultants. You will also be producing reports, particular a study and works to do next financial year of chalk grassland management, hedge planting and the creating of beetlebanks - ie headland conservation type of works. Candidates must be enthusiastic, committed to learning and with good time management skills. No prior knowledge is Arcview is needed. |
