: Our client is a huge name on the high-street seen in every town up and down the country as well as in many cities internationally. They are one of the biggest brands in retail. They have recently undergone a period of expansion domestically and internationally and are set for further growth this year. This role will operate on their home shopping division which includes both their website and catalogue operations. Although the role is at AM level, due to the focus of the role the responsibilities are quite different and significantly more involved The position will involve the following: Plan achievable sales budgets to conform to company overall plan. Ensure sales budgets are achieved by providing optimum stocks Select product range from main company categories In conjunction with marketing ensure that promotional activities are supported with the appropriate levels of stock, delivered at the optimum time. To manage stock levels to meet company target as identified on the end stock report. To control and manage all carry forward stock ensuring maximum full time availability of all SKUs. The ideal candidate will currently be an Assistant Merchandiser looking for a role that can offer more than your standard AM role. This role will involve both the forecasting and selection of the range so you will need to have both the creative and commercial flair to pull this off.
