My Client is looking for an assistant to work alongside the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the preparation of feasibilityestimates for a wide range of schemes across all sectors but mainly retail, residential and warehousing. The idealcandidate would be from a PQS background, either studying for or just having gained APC qualification - I am reallylooking for someone who could take on works using their own initiative albeit under supervision i.e. They do not want acomplete new starter or a graduate - someone who is studying part time would be OK - it is important that they would havehands on experience and have worked previously in a QS office.The package would be fairly flexible - but this can be tailored to suit the right candidate.This client has building surveying at its roots but is rapidly expanding into an all round construction consultancy andhas many sizeable and prestigious projects subject to QS/EA/ PM roles.Their main office is in Esher Surrey and they have other offices in London, Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow. The positionwould be based in Leeds working alongside the Senior QS but would involve some travel to serve their Manchester office.
