Our client, who are one of the leading contractors in the UK, have recently been awarded a major highways contract in East Sussex and they are looking for a number of Assistant Quantity Surveyors to join their expanding team. The main responsibilities will be:-- supporting the project team in all commercial matters- be proactive in promoting team working & partnering- set up administration systems- ensure timely submission of valuations- ensure cash flow is maximised including ensuring payments are received on time- ensure the accurate and timely evaluation and agreement of final quantities, revised and additional items, rates and compensation eventsThe ideal candidates should have:-- have a minimum of 2 years civils experience- possess negotiating skills- have IT skills, especially spreadsheets- have a working knowledge of site programmes and recognise the commercial implications of change- possess report-writing skills and excellent communication skillsIf you are interested in this excellent position, please send your CV to civil.south@leap29.com |
