Our client is one of the UK's largest and the fastest growing Track Renewals specialists, undertaking all aspects oftrack construction, track renewals and track reconstruction work throughout the UK.They currently have a requirement for an Assistant Safety & Operations Manager to work in their corporate headquarters inGlasgow.The main responsibilities for the role will be to provide a comprehensive support and service on the management of safetysystem, procedures, advice and audit for Corporate Divisions within the company. Support and assist on all technical andprocedural aspects of Railway Operations within the company including the administration of all Assurance Cases. Managethe process of Incident Investigation Review and report at a senior management level on findings.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Minimum of 2 years experience as Safety and Environment Manager Minimum of 2 years Railway Operations experience MIOSH qualified Member of the Institute of Railway Operators Environmental Management Certificate Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.Our client is prepared to offer a very competitive and attractive salary and package for the right individual. |
