Description:

The roles in more detail, are defined as:-ASSOCIATE - This is a very senior role within the company, with the key objective being to develop the developmentplanning business in the South of England and be responsible for project delivery. It is expected that you wouldparticipate in business and commercial planning for Development Planning in the South.It is hoped that you will be developing your own client base and that your will preferably be a recognised name in theprivate (and possibly public) sector who clients return to for advice on a regular basis.You will have all of the core traffic engineering skills, excellent interpersonal skills and have a thoroughunderstanding of the planning system and preferably have acted as an expert witness at Public Inquiries/Hearings.The role will involve leading a team of planners/engineers and ideally come from an engineering background, although thisis not absolutely necessary.Project direction/management/business development/networking/client care are key competencies of this role.In return the company reward handsomely and this role being so pivotal offers superb prospects and the very realpossibility of becoming a Director.In respect to the other role, the company are seeking an experienced PRINCIPAL/SENIOR TRANSPORT AND DEVELOPMENT PLANNER:-This role will be to lead a team of Project Managers in Development Planning South based in Surrey.The company are hoping this individual will be an excellent Project Manager with established commercial skills andunderstanding.It is hoped that you will be degree qualified with at least 10 years experience in a broad range of projects with aconsiderable bias towards:- Transport Assessments (for all land uses), urban regeneration, masterplanning, environmentalassessments, Travel Plans.Ideally you will have experience of managing multi disciplinary projects with internal and external consultants.
