A leading Cost Consultancy is seeking to appoint an experienced Associate or Director to a Power and Utilities team in their busy London office. You will work from their West End London office and help them grow existing clients and develop new clients. They are a leading international multi-discipline construction consultancy with in excess of 1000 staff and operations on every continent.You ideally have the following attributes / qualifications:-Over ten years experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager-Hold a BSc in Quantity Surveying or related degree / diploma-Have a professional membership; MRICS, MCIOB, MACostE, MinstCES-Be capable of managing major civil, utilities and power schemes from GBP 50m and above.-Have good quality project experience in the civil, power and utilities sector.-Capable of managing and developing a team of Cost Managers / Quantity Surveyors.-Have strong business development skills as well as substantial contacts in the Power and Utilities sectors.-Have previously been responsible for managing a business unit including full P&L responsibility.On offer are excellent prospects to progress quickly from Associate / Director to Partner and on from there get equity within a short timescale. Genuine equity opportunities exist for ambitious hard working QSs who want to work in a - reward on results- environment.The package is negotiable and very much depends on whether the appointment is at Associate or Director level. As a starting indication a basic salary is likely to be between GBP 50,000 to 80,000, but this figure could be improved upon for an exceptional candidate capable of bringing work with them. As well as this there would be a car allowance, Pension, healthcare, mobile, laptop and an excellent bonus structure. |
