An excellent opportunity to join this leading test and certification organisation as an Associate Project Engineer, whereyou will be involved in the management of engineering projects relating to the assessment, testing and certification ofindustrial control equipment.Under general supervision, the successful applicant will be involved in the management, execution and timely completionof basic engineering projects by analyzing project scope and determining project specifications, establishing testprograms for product investigations, analyzing test programs for adequacy and sequence, examining s for compliancewith Company requirements, and preparing reports for clients. Assists in the development of Company requirements, testmethods, and test equipment. Exercises Project Handler Signature Authority as Project Handler of record responsible foropening, maintenance, completion, and closing of assigned new work engineering projects. May exercise Review SignatureAuthority as assigned as Reviewer of record responsible for initial review, status review, and final technical review ofall new work engineering projects.To be considered for this position applicants should have a degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, IndustrialTechnology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics. You must also have at least 2 years directly related work experiencewith one or more of the following:- industrial control equipment, motor drives, temperature indicating & regulatingequipment, energy management equipment & transformers. In addition you will need to have detailed knowledge of thetechnical vocabulary common to industrial control equipment and basic knowledge of laboratory testing apparatus andtechniques.Salary: GBP 22,000 + excellent benefits package. |
