AV/VC Customer Support Engineer17k to 28k + benefitsWorking for a dynamic video communication company with a large & varied client base, the role is a varied mix of field and office based work. Working within a team, duties will include office based Help desk and Technical support functions, as well as client facing field based functions such as installations, project management support, site surveys, pre-sales support and fault finding within mixed technology environments that may include Video, AV and Data for example.You will need to be able to prioritize in a pressured & fast paced environment and work & communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and colleagues. Attention to detail with regards to installation standards, record keeping, site surveying & technical drawing is required.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS- A minimum of 2 years AV/VC experience is required within a field engineer or technical support capacity.- Must be computer literate - Excellent Customer Facing Skills - Energy & self-motivation- Installation Skills- Good communicator- Manufacturer accreditations (Eg; CVE, Polycom, Tandberg, Cisco, Crestron etc)- Full Clean UK Driving LicenseDesirable but not essential:- Project Management Experience- Technical Drawing- AMX/ Crestron Knowledge- IP, Networking and Data skills |
