LV Switchboards & Panels, Sales Engineer, Northern Region, ?35 - 40k base ?50 OTE. Our clients are the specialists in design, manufacture, installation of a wide range of Switchboards, Packaged Sub-Stations and Motor Control Systems all designed and built to Customers requirements. They sell their products into a range orf industries such as Telecommunications (IT), Petrochem/Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Transportation, Industrial, Power Generation & Food and Retail. Due to unprecedented growth, there is now room for an additional Sales Engineer to join their outstanding team. Reporting to the sales director the chosen candidate will be responsible for managing and further developing the customer relationship as well as generating new business. The ideal candidate should have a couple of years sales experience selling LV switchboards and a number of industry contacts so will be able to hit the ground running. You should have knowledge of the general electrical industry together with, ideally but not essentially, exposure to Switchboard and Motor Control Centre market places. Commercial understanding of how the Consultant, Contractor and End User inter relate alongside demonstrable success in this field would be an added advantage. They also seek a polished, consultative, well-presented sales person who can deal with people on all levels from operations to board level. In addition to that you must be young and hungry and have a proven sales track record. There are also currently seeking a Managing Director to lead the Switchgear and Motors businesses through an exciting period of growth. The successful candidate must have sales experience within the electrical contracting industry, ideally with switchgear or related products. Remuneration will be by way of base salary of between ?35 - 40K, car allowance/company car with an OTE of ?50K+. The salary for the MD has not been decided. Opportunities like this are rare.
