OTE GBP 55K (uncapped), Market leading Lift Trucks/Materials Handling Equipment company /Machinery/ Sales Manager from Midlands (Birmingham)/ Seeking Sales Manager to develop key accounts - Birmingham/Wales/Nottingham/Warwickshire/Cheshire/Midlands area. Our client is one the UKs leading importers of high quality forklift trucks to the Construction and Industrial sector. Due to a new focus on growing their substantial market share they are looking to recruit a proven salesperson from within the industry to add value to their highly successful team throughout England. Due to this sustained growth, there is now room for the addition of a Sales Dealer Support Manager to join their impressive team in the Midlands. This role will see you managing an impressive portfolio of existing key accounts at board level, while continually looking for new opportunities to expand the potential of each of these clients. The ideal candidate will ideally have at least 4 years sales experience selling fork trucks or come from a related industry; for example selling either capital equipment, materials handling equipment etc. You must be proactive, well presented, have strong rapport building skills, creative flair and be a person who always strives to be No.1. This company likes people who are able to sell themselves first and then sell the company and their products. They are currently looking to groom the right individual to take over the role as company GM from late 2006, so experience at managing a team or direct reports are a must. The successful candidate will be remunerated with a generous base salary of GBP 30-35k basic and uncapped commission scheme which will see you earning between GBP 50-60k in year one. The role offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement into the General Manager position after one years service.
