Our dual role gives a valuable overview of activity and administrative issues within the hospital and is an idealdevelopment opportunity for someone wishing to expand their career into management.The main aspects of the role are: * To monitor and resolve delays in discharging patients from hospital * To identify and address unnecessary delays within the hospital stay * To ensure efficient and appropriate allocation of beds to both elective and emergency admissions * To play a pivotal role in ensuring waiting lists targets are met and waiting times in A&E are kept to a minimum Involvement in 24-hour service provision in liaison with the Site Practitioners This is a challenging and demanding role, which can give immeasurable job satisfaction.
