Large Housing company based in Chatham are seeking a part time Benefits Advisor to work in and around the Medway area. You will be based in Chatham but cover all of the surrounding Medway Towns hence you must be a car owner with a clean driving licence.You will be actively assisting tenants in furtherance of formal appeals against the Local Authority and other agencies decisions to suspend or reduce benefit entitlement. The ideal applicant will have at least two years experience in a benefits environment, you must be self-motivated and have a flexible approach to working hours, as you may have to attend evening meetings.The ability to operate effectively as a team member, committed to the provision of community benefits and affordable housing provision and good report and letter writing skills is a must.
