The role would suit someone with a strong background in Managing Bids and Projects from within the defence domain. Succesfull applicants will need an established track record of delivering large, complex development programmes (comprising Systems, Software and Hardware engineering) to cost, schedule and quality. Previous exposure to (and the ability to work within) a matrix organisation and the ability to operate in complex and sometimes ambiguous circumstances are desirable. You will also need a strong understanding of Risk Management, Programme Finance (including work in progress), FCAC and earned value measurement. Ideally you will have professional training in project / programme management and be educated to degree level. |
