BLUETOOTH/ WIRELESS INTEROPERABILITY ENGINEERGRADUATE TO SENIOR LEVELSOur client seeks an Interoperability Engineer to apply their test background to a new area. Although knowledge of Bluetooth is not essential, an enthusiasm for technology is. Knowledge of networking would also help. Your experience should be anything from a University degree through to years of Test experience, with networking or consumer products. You are creative, motivated, analytical and pay attention to detail. Your role will be to help define Interoperability Group Test Processes and Problem Analysis / Resolution Processes. Define/maintain detailed test suite, execute Interoperability testing of new Bluetooth products against other end products, monitor/procure third party end products, arrange testing in lab. Document/maintain physical archive of all tested hardware/test reports. Where interop tests fail, create technical specs for changes needed to firmware where they are a possible solution to recovering interoperability with 3rd party hardware. Then Project Manage process of implementing the changes. Also investigate routes to automating testing. Where interop tests fail and cannot be fixed, you will create technical specs for changes needed to 3rd party software and communicate them as a web based service to subscribers to the service. Also manage key customer relationships for top tier customers wishing to subscribe to the interop lab service. |
