This global player in the Games Technology Industry is looking for a Build Engineer who will be responsible for working in a highly varied application envirnment, ranging from C/C++ libraries on game consoles, COM/ActiveX components, through to highly interactive 3D user interfaces. Your primary responsibilities will be creating, maintaining and improving the software build process for both release and development code, helping the teams with installation scripts, managing the build and release process, and looking for continual process improvements to enhance the entire teams efforts. Your experience will need to include programming experience in a commercial environment - so you need proficiency with Visual Studio-based platforms such as C++ or C# and knolwege of:- make, scripting tools such as PERL or Python, XML/XSLT, packaging tools such as InstallShield, automation tools and a good understanding of source control management software - Perforce an advantage - as well as an appreciation of the complexities of delivering modern software products and an enthusiasm for building great software products. This role attracts an excellent blue chip package and is an excellent career move for the right candidate. |
