Our clients, a multi-national engineering consultancy firm, are looking to recruit both Building Service & SeniorBuilding Service Engineers (Electrical or Mechanical bias) to join their offices in Bath on either a permanent orcontract basis.Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following experience and abilities: Degree in Engineering plus a minimum of 2 years relevant postgraduate professional experience. Graduate Member of a relevant Institution, working towards Chartership Good IT skills Good communication skills, dealing with other employees and external clients Confident, proactive character, ability to take the lead in challenging situations Have a flexible approach and be a team player Be a committed and talented electrical/mechanical designer with experience working in an engineering consultancyenvironment. Have contributed to the design and delivery of discipline engineering on multiple projects, seeing them through tocompletion, and balancing workload requirements. Ability to co-ordinate with the other discipline Engineers within the practice to produce design solutions for clients. Capable of acting as second in command in absence of Job Leader, ensuring internal and external processes areeffectively managed.The key areas of responsibility for these roles are: Undertaking detailed engineering design Preparing technical schedules Planning and managing CAD documentation of design work Working closely with Technician (as appropriate) In conjunction with senior staff represent BH at meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers. Ensuring service and project work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget. Ensuring that appropriate service/design decisions are met. Ensuring senior staff is kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of thecompany and the client are achieved.
