This position's primary objective is to develop and achieve profitable sales revenue of products and services and increasing the number of Dermatological accounts in the designated sales territory based in the general South East of England. The client is seeking to solidify their position as the market leader by increasing their sales activities nationwide leading to the Christmas period and continue growth throughout 2006. The company headquarters are in St Albans, Hertfordshire. You role will be to support the Regional Sales Director in achieving sales targets set by management on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. This will be achieved through optimal targeting of dermatologists and plastic surgeons. You will have to expand the market base of dermatology/plastic surgeon accounts. You will be responsible for the management on a continuing basis of approximately 120 accounts (90 active accounts) through direct visit to at least 20 accounts per week. As the Area Sales Manager you will be expected to spend most of your time in the field, including cold calling and following up on leads. You will advise the Regional Director on competitive activity in the territory to allow preparation for the appropriate response. You will report on all product usage and the percentage of business by product sold to your territory's top 20-30 accounts. You will have to make timely submission of weekly/monthly itineraries, Area Action Plans/reports and make a weekly call to the Regional Sales Director to follow-up on activities. You will be expected to carry company promotional material that can exceed 40 lbs, to be used on sales calls. You will also have to receive/unpack shipments of company literature, s and trade stock at home or at your company-provided storage locker. The ideal candidate will have a solid proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ideally you will have the ability to travel 75% with approximately 2 overnights per week. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in direct outside sales (preferably in either skincare, salon or other medical sales). Yo |
