Business Analyst to GBP 30k + bonus + benefits including pension, medical insurance, income protection, death in service,share optionsTHE COMPANY:Our client, a South West based IT solutions provider, seek to appoint a Business Analyst to work on varied projectsincluding local government. The Business Analyst will be based in the South West and prepared to travel to client site UKwide to provide consultancy, implementation and sales support, this will involve being away from home sometimes Monday toFriday.THE PERSON:The Business Analyst will need a degree with IT content including some coding and post graduate experience of customerrequirements gathering, internet and business software products and working within the IT development lifecycle.THE ROLE:The Business Analyst will report to the development manager and the role will involve client requirements gathering,production of business documents (functional specs, feasibility studies etc), project planning, liaison with developers,business and IT consultancy and advice and guidance demonstrating an understanding of business issues.On the desirable but not essential list we are looking for the Business Analyst to have knowledge and or experience ofCRM and e-business, experience of writing business documentation, experience of working within a Quality System, projectmanagement experience, UML modelling using rational rose or XDE, skills in browser based products, CRM systems anddatabases e.g SQL, Oracle.The Business Analyst will be client facing at high level, be able to bridge the business and IT gap and be able to workin fast paced environments.The Business Analyst will be able to negotiate salary cGBP 30k plus benefits.
