A global publisher is seeking a Top 4 trained accountant with up to five years PQE to join their high profile team as a Business Assurance Manager. Reporting to the Group Controller, your primary purpose of the role is to support the groups' businesses in minimising risk, improving controls and ensuring compliance with internal policies and GAAP. The work will be mainly project based and will involve travel to Business operations around the world. You will proactively identify opportunities to manage and reduce risk across the group and perform appropriate follow up procedures in areas where issues are noted. You will also be one of the primary points of contact for US GAAP technical guidance, assisting operations in the interpretations and implementation of GAAP, especially in complex areas such revenue recognition. Other duties will include assisting in due diligence and integration of acquisitions, and preparation / coordination / reporting of divestitures, where needed and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements across the group and increase the awareness thereof. Our client requires a strong team player with a good knowledge of US GAAP is highly desirable, strong oral and written communications skills is a must to be consideredOnly Qualified Accounts with a practice background will be considered.
