JOB TITLE: Business Development ExecutiveREPORTS TO: Sales ManagerFUNCTION/DEPARTMENT: SalesLOCATION: LondonPURPOSE:To identify, close and maintain new and existing business opportunities to result in maximising profitability and regularrevenue for the company within the company's agreed sales strategy.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:" To proactively generate new business revenue through cold calling qualifying and quantifying calls and setting up salesappointments, within your business territory." To build and develop your existing customer base to maximise the revenue opportunities." To identify new potential opportunities within your territory, examining your prospect research and break down." Research and plan all sales calls." Develop and maintain an accurate and professional written account plan forecasting how sales targets will be met." To present the conferencing service on the field to potential customers and clients." To maintain the systems accurately ensuring that visit reports etc are kept up to date." To maintain customer tracking reports containing suspect to prospect to customer information on a regular basis." To achieve or exceed monthly and year to date sales revenue targets, maximising the profitability and revenue withinyour territory." To achieve the activity standards set by the company, as detailed in the commission scheme plan." To represent the Company in a professional manner at all times and to ensure that the best interests of the Company arerepresented during the course of day to day business activity." To organise prospecting activities, sales calls and administrative tasks ensuring best use of available time andmaximum levels of productivity." To provide regular informative feedback and activity reports to your Sales Manager within the agreed deadlines." To keep your personal development of sales skills up to date." To ensure that your product, technology and market knowledge is kept up to date by reading literature, networking,attend training courses and liasing with other colleagues as appropriate, sharing unique knowledge with the rest of thecompany as appropriate." To maintain a positive and healthy attitude that contributes directly to the working environment of the sales team andthe Company.KEY MEASURES:This role will be measured along two key dimensions, profitability/revenue achievement and professionalism & efficiencyof administration.
