Ref: UPS01aLocation: London HeathrowResponsible for the entire sales process from intelligence gathering and prospecting to negotiating, securing andmanaging new and existing accounts, this role is critical in the continual development of UPS in the UK.Key tasks include:1. Organising and managing the territory in order to maximise your regions revenue potential.2. Fact finding in the initial meeting to obtain information about the customers business situation/goals, plus identifyareas of customer concern or disagreement and identify additional sales opportunities.3. Providing a solution that meets the client requirements means that you will be fully conversant with a wide range offreight forwarding products.4. Guiding and co-ordinating the activities of others within UPS to meet customer needs and enhance customersatisfaction. By making recommendations/proposals, being persistent and overcoming resistance, the BDE will be able toinfluence and close the sell.5. It is the responsibility of the BDE to ensure the correct credit check procedures are followed. This will mean takingan active part in ensuring new customers operate within UPS SCS standard terms & conditions, in relation to paymentcycle.To qualify for this role and be part of a household name you must have had a proven track record in service based sales,you must be presentable, ambitious, possess good communication skills and have the drive to not only achieve, but exceedall targets set.Interested?
