Our client is a part of a multi-million pound global company, they are recruiting for a Business Development Manager based in the North of England to cover major opportunities across the UK, this is a senior level sales position to develop New Product Innovation opportunities, develop the sales value proposition, and then working with the companies internal marketing team deliver the product set to the sales force and then manage the sales of the new product across the sales force. This is a new role and has come about due to the fact that the company is looking to add products to it current portfolio of offerings geared add value to its existing customers, the role is about selling new products to existing customers and new products to new customers. It is expected that you would handle two or three such Products in the course of one year. The opportunities and career prospects for the right individual are immense. You will have a minimum of 3 years experience selling into the commercial interiors marketplace, ideally have had sales management experience, and a good technical understanding of commercial interiors products. You will be able to converse with Consultants and Contractors as well as with blue chip end users and be able to manage and motive a sales team. The company require a, confident, persuasive and commercially aware senior sales professional with a proven track record in sales. The individual will be highly self motivated, must be a team player as they must be able to work with the internal teams to pull these solutions together, you must have excellent communication skills.
