My client, a well established Finance Company, is currently looking for a Business Development Manager.Department:This division deals with consumer finance which is point of sale related, for example retail finance and car finance.Description:Due to the demand for our retail finance products, an opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join oursales team, covering London and the Home Counties. The position would suit someone living centrally within the area.The main responsibilities of the role will be: - Cold calling retailers who currently use an alternative provider within our market with a view to converting them toParagon Identifying and converting sales opportunities in the furniture and carpet retail markets Developing existing relationships in the promotion of the Company's products Managing retailer's finance programmes to ensure that incremental sales are securedKnowledge of the retail market place is desirable together with an understanding of consumer based finance facilities.To fulfil the role you will need to be: Highly self-motivated Keen to achieve objectives set Positive and have a flexible approach towards working hours when the business requires it Confident to work on your own and use your own initiative Enthusiastic and committed to the success of the business and the team Organised, adaptable to change and methodical in your approach to your work Able to work to strict deadlines Computer literate in order to use the various systems and processes requiredIn addition, you will have a positive mental attitude and strong interpersonal and communication skills.The position is home based and you should possess a full clean driving licence. The position is a Casual contract tocover maternity leave but there is the potential for it to become a permanent role. |
