Business Development ManagerMy client who are a market leading Bank are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to work within the Area.You will need minimum 2 years experience within a BDM role and have a proven track record. This is an ideal opportunityto get into the finance industry, please note you do not need to come from a banking or financial background but previousBanking or financial background is desired. You will need the following: strong sales background, B2B experience, solidpresentation and communication skills, desire to get the job done, able to work on own initiative and be targetorientated. You will be expected to go to local businesses & present company business packages, you will be provided witha region/territory to work within. Your time will be split between branch and on field.In return for your services you will be offered a basic salary + Commission + Bonuses + Travel Expenses + Black-Berry +Pension + Free BUPA + 25 paid holidays1. Need to have lending experience2. They need to have a track record indicating an ability to bring in new clients as this is the sole function of therole, i.e. they will not be looking after clients after they have been brought onboard. My client are planning a hugeassault on the business market in 2006 and they are planning on having the market leading package for businesses.3. This role is simply about bringing new clients on board, the role is a hunting role, not a farming one - they will notbe looking after the clients once they are brought onboard.ShareKickerAnnually you can opt to increase your earnings by using all or part of your bonus to buy shares. Provided the shares areretained for 3 years, the Company will gift 50% more shares allowing you the opportunity to increase the after-tax valueof your bonus by 50%ShareSaveYou will have the opportunity to buy shares on favourable terms for monthly payments of GBP 5 to GBP 250 for a 3, 5, or 7 yearfixed term. The last option was granted with a 20% reduction on the share priceShareOptionsShare options give you the right to buy shares in the future at a price set at the time the options are granted. Youdont have to pay anything for your options when they are granted to you.
