Business Development Manager - UKSalary: 25k to 35k basic + bonus + benefitsMy client is a leading provider in Specialist Moulding Services in Plastics and Rubber to clients across the UK.Due to their continued expansion program, they are looking for a dynamic and target driven Business Development Managerto win new business and expertly service key accounts.The Role:For Specialist Moulding Services to develop new business by:-- Increasing the number of appropriate Customers in target markets, particularly aerospace, medical electronics andsimilar technical sectors.- Sell low/medium volume moulding capacity often with secondary operations or assembly work.- Develop effective methods of communicating with target markets to generate new leads and monitor sales enquiries.- Support Commercial Manager, Moulding Services Co-ordinator and Production team in servicing existing accountsparticularly with new projects.- Manage complete sales process from enquiry to quote to sale and then liaise throughout project.ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- Strong sales track record and technical background Plastic Injection Moulding and/or Rubber Injection Mouldingproducts/solutions - including the ability to be able to converse and sell at engineer/designer level.- Comfortable with all levels of Customer contact and skilled in negotiating.- Experience of selling into key target sectors such as aerospace and defence would be a distinct advantage.-Robust approach to get to the people you need to see and perseverance to achieve this.
