Established for nearly 20 years, we are privately owned and operating in the enviable position of a profitable business looking to expand due to continued success.Because of this success the company now has an opportunity for a Business Development Manager Local / Central GovernmentYou will be able to: build client relationships and satisfaction, to generate follow-on or new opportunities within assigned accounts, develop opportunities for consultancy, resourcing and solutions, have the skills to undertake proposition development, account planning, opportunity planning, pursuit management and deal closure, manage account profitability, provide leadership on sales pursuits, oversee multiple proposal development effortsYou will demonstrate: a successful track record in selling consultancy resources and consulting services and solutions, knowledge of a broad range of consulting activities as well as thought leadership in specific subject areas, excellent understanding of IT and its business implications, understanding of programme and project management experience. 5+ years sales experience in the public sector. strong executive level client relationship management, the ability to establish a strong sense of purpose, high standards and a sense of urgency for self and others, the ability to create an open flow of information by using a range of communication tactics.Specifically, your experience should demonstrate service sales within the public sector; either local government, ODPM or other central government departments.For more information or to apply please send your CV to Simon Moore at Huntress
