* Positive, Realistic and On Your side WHAT OUR BRAND SAYS ABOUT US: * Friendly, Professional, Honest and Fun WHAT WE DELIVER AND WHY MEMBERS JOIN: * Good value, Convenient and quality What you will do: * Participate in tenders and contract renewal, new product development, risk management and issue resolution * To assist the Head of Commercial Operations in delivering a product range that exceeds customer expectations thus helps achieves the group retention objectives * Annual growth in P&L profit contribution from additional spend goods and services * Review and improve existing group service contract costs i.e. cleaning, laundry, uniforms etc * Build strong relationships with all suppliers to provide growth in their profit contributions * Continually source best value suppliers to improve cost margins of products and services * To implement industry leading Purchasing Strategies and best practices. * Communicate effectively new initiatives and products to clubs via preparation of monthly launches, attendance on regional & club meetings incorporating a stock ordering audit and its management within the current group audit system. What we are looking for: * Ideally you will have 2 years previous experience in a similar role * Extensive UK goods and services sourcing experience * Key goods and display marketing knowledge * Strong negotiating skills * Ability to read and update service contracts * The ability to work to tight timings and deadlines * Experience of managing a team to deliver results * Experience of waste management via implementation of effective stock control systems * Accounting or ability to analyse and understand P&L accounts * Experience of working within an accounts environment * Experience of strategic planning * Extensive awareness of health club industry dynamics * Key relationship building and management skills * Willingness to travel across the LA Fitness portfolio of clubs * IT literate - Excel and other basic packages eg.
