: C / C++ Software Engineer required by world leading defence company on Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire border. The Skills: 2yrs+ C/C++ Windows and/or embedded environment. Familiarity with hardware test equipment (Scopes, spectrum analyser etc.), a strong maths background & interest in writing code for hardware control / simulation. Experience with VXWorks, Radar & defence, hardware interface code, Embedded and Real Time environments, and electronics is an advantage. For security reasons candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK The Package: GBP 2535,000K+ full benefits package, flexible 37.5 hr week, 23 days Holidays. The Role: Joining small team developing Windows/PC & VxWorks/PowerPC based applications for internally designed & built systems (from digital & RF components), for both UK & overseas clients. Involves C /C++ development on legacy code as well as on new modules. The role offers variety and responsibility and youll become an expert in chosen fields of the product development. A keen commitment to understanding & solving problems at both system & software level is required.
