: An excellent opportunity has arisen within a company which is involved in the international automotive and aircraft industry, with a range of services which embrace the entire development process chain. From initial concept right through to mass production readiness, they develop design solutions for vehicle bodies, interiors, chassis, engines, electrics/electronics and major components and can also provide support for mass production start-up. They are now looking for a CAD Designer (Powertrain, Interior, Exterior, Ornamentation, Seat Development, Mechanics. Closures, Pre Development, Lighting). Your main task will be to deliver various 3D items on C3P tools e.g. Component Parts, Sub-assemblies and assemblies including required Product Manufacturing information to support Engineering Releases on WERS and Meaphase. In addition, you will support the update of component parts/assemblies per program requirements. You will also be required to prepare layout, detail, installation and package geometry. Experience in Design, Manufacturing, FSS and other C3P areas are essential as is CAD experience (IDEAS or CATIA V5). You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and show initiative, creativity, flexibility and teamworking skills. |
